UP(st)ART is a company that offers actors, musicians and writers dorm-style accommodation at less than half the typical LA rent, meaning they don’t have to fill their time working multiple jobs just to make the rent.
As well as cheap dorm-style rooms at eight locations around the city, residents are also given access to recording studios, screenings rooms, performance spaces, gyms and dance studios to hone their crafts.
UP(st)ART began in 2016 but has been expanding this year, opening three new locations
