May Day March

May Day March

Please join the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor on Tuesday, May 1st for the annual May Day March. This year, thousands of Angelenos will march through the city in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Harvey Milk, Dolores Huerta, and Cesar Chavez who fought so selflessly for justice. Together we will honor their legacy and fight back against the attacks on our communities.

Thousands of union workers will gather at Pershing Square and march to Federal Building on Temple St. to make a bold statement against Janus v. AFSCME and the right-to-work attacks on labor.

SAG-AFTRA will also be marching to protect, defend and respect worker rights for our union brothers and sisters who are fighting for a first contract at Spanish Broadcasting System’s La Raza 97.1 and MEGA 96.3.

When:  Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 12 – 3 p.m.

Where: Gather at Pershing Square – 606 S. Olive St., Los Angeles CA 90014

Parking: Street parking or at Union Station; or ride the Metro to Pershing Square
