200 South Casting Facility
200 S La Brea Ave
Los Angeles CA 90036

200 South parking options:
(UW is not responsible for parking tickets)

In general, with a start time of 7:30p sharp there are many parking options around this location.

La Brea Ave: FREE starting at 7pm.

2nd Street: FREE Either East or West of LaBrea

Sycamore Ave: FREE between 2nd and 3rd Streets. (All other street parking in the neighborhood is permit parking)

Ralphs Grocery: (adjacent lot just South of the 200 South front door) is only for shoppers, so be advised, but commonly actors go in and buy something small…and park in their lot. (Park at your own risk if you do so without a purchase.)

Permit Parking Only Note: Several surrounding neighborhood streets you may be accustomed to parking on during the day, while attending auditions, ARE off-limits after 6pm. So take note of ALL signs.

Faith Presbyterian Church
5000 Colfax Ave
North Hollywood, CA 91601

[Google Maps]

PARKING: The entire lot is available to Town Hall attendees (First come / First serve). There will be some reserved spaces, with cones, for our Candidates and UW Core members!

ADDT’L STREET PARKING: There is a lot of street parking in this neighborhood on Hesby, Addison, Otsego and more. (See photo below.)

[Google Maps]

This is the Catholic school on the corner of Ambrose and Vermont Avenues in Los Feliz.

PARKING: They have two large parking lots, but if they are full, there should be ample street parking nearby.

Town Hall – Audience Rules & Decorum (Will be strictly enforced)

  • Attendance is LIMITED to 200, you must be a Union member “in good standing.” (Show your Union card upon entrance. Please have it out and ready)
  • Personal attacks and/or unruly disruption will not be tolerated. (Anyone who does not adhere to this will be immediately removed out of the venue.)
  • No other candidate will be present during another candidate’s time slot. (This is a Town Hall, not a panel or debate format.)
  • NO audio or video recording allowed during this event.

The Road Theatre Company
Historic Lankershim Arts Center
5108 Lankershim Blvd

There is no parking for this location! Please allow extra time for parking on the street, which can be very hit-or-miss. We encourage carpooling, ride-sharing and public transportation.

Los Angeles CA 90036

(in the Frank Maxwell meeting room, entrance in the lobby)

[Google Maps]

First United Methodist Church

Woman’s Club of Hollywood
1749 N La Brea Ave
Los Angeles CA 90046

(West side of La Brea, between Hollywood and Franklin)

[Google Maps]

PARKING: This building has been somewhat dwarfed by the construction in Hollywood and is easy to miss. There is parking for approx 55 cars. We have over 55 people who have RSVP’ed, so you should consider carpooling, Uber or Lyft.

Click here for a link to a Google Maps image of the Club from the street – the paved driveway seen in the image is the pathway back to the parking lot. There is a Yucca St. sign at the driveway which will be the best guidepost.

Decorum/Policies:

  • Partisan agendas are prohibited.
  • UW is not SAG-AFTRA. All opinions you hear expressed are only those of the speaker and do not necessarily reflect those of either SAG-AFTRA or UnionWorking.
  • Signing in is mandatory, because if you’re there … we want to know that you were there.
  • When appropriate and asked, questions must be succinct and one-part, not multiples.
  • Back n forth conversation is fine, after asking a question, but rambling, talking over, and heated debates are prohibited.
  • When you are stopped by a UW moderator please yield – and do not argue. (We have 6 discussion topics to cover in 80 minutes, so 15 minutes or so per topic question. Some will last longer depending on how many panelists can address the discussion topic. Let’s keep it rolling and not let the panelists get off topic or go down rabbit holes.)
  • We need to repeat and repeat that there will be no questions or comments until the floor is opened to audience questions at approx 9:15. (Because we know how actors love to hear themselves talk. 😉

Thank you for following our meeting decorum.
